The first shop of Hitiroglou was founded in 1919 in Kapnikareas str by Paul Hitiroglou from Caesarea of Cappadocia. His pioneering and business acumen was the driving force which made the company to be one of the most dynamic ones and continues until today to distinguish in the section of curtains, fabrics and upholstery.

Paul Hitiroglou was the first who made housewives to throw the papers they used to cover the windows and offer them a variety of fabulous designs of fabrics he brought from England, Italy, Belgium and Switzerland.

In the decade of ’60 he offered to his customers the chance to take the curtains ready to be hanged and in addition he also had his own men in order to put them to their homes.

These characteristics were enough to make Hitiroglou a name synonymous to big variety, quality and high standards of service.

Today, Selections Hitiroglou shops continue their successful tradition as much as in Greece as in abroad like in Balkans, Cyprus and in Arabian states.
